How to assess students have achived Learning Outcomes

  • Know
    • Learning outcomes : Student is able to define Statistical Terms
    • We can give a MCQ type questionnaire 
      • Select the correct definition of Statistical Terms
      • Select the correct syntax of the equation
  • Understand
    • Learning outcomes : Student is able to understand the how to use statistics
    • MCQ basis or structured Questionnaire
      • Give some figures  to calculate the median of a sample 
      • Ask to describe some terms 
      • Identify the figures needed to get some value of the formula
  • Apply
    • Learning outcomes : Student is able to Apply Statistics to solve problems in a practical situation
    • Given some practical Scenario and can be asked which theory is most suitable to solve this problem or to identify the situation
  • Analysis
    • Learning outcomes : Student able to Compare similar situations
    • Give two incidents and can ask to get compare those situations and select the best alternative
  • Synthesis
    • Learning outcomes : Student able to Solve the same problem with many views
    • Can ask student to solve a same problem using two or more theories and compare those situations
  • Evaluate
    • Learning outcomes : Student is aware of statistical theories and formulars
    • Can give a mcq paper which is covered all the syllabus matters
